Environment & Equipments

Our lab is located within the state-of-the-art School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. We are fully equipped to perform a full spectrum of pharmaceutical research, such as the following:

  • Organic synthesis, HTS parallel synthesis system, purification (Biotage), characterizations (LC-MS, NMR)

  • Liposome and lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations for RNA delivery via traditional extruder or modular microfluidic systems.

  • Nano-formulation characterization via dynamic light scattering and zeta-potential measurements (Brookhaven Nanobook)

  • Molecular biology studies (RT-PCR systems, PCR hood, RNA/DNA isolation, molecular cloning, automatic Western Blotting, biomolecular imager)

  • Protein engineering studies (bacterial incubator, colony counter, orbital floor shaker, HTS microplate washer, automatic ELISA analyzer, dot blotter)

  • Hitology (cryostat, IHC station, multiplexing IHC slide scanner, etc.)

  • Cell-based screening studies (fully equipped cell culture facility, storage, vaccine development, plate readers, confocal microscopy, flow cytometry)

  • Microfluidic-based organ-on-a-chip studies

  • Pre-clinical studies (pre-clinical IVIS imaging system, animal facilities, etc.).
